Pools Designed Around Clear Lake.
Clear Lake backyards belong to people who already live around the water — mornings at the marina, weekends out on the bay, evenings back home in the established neighborhoods near NASA's Johnson Space Center. A custom pool here is not a substitute for the water; it is the everyday version of it, steps from the back door. Action Custom Pools designs pools, spas, and full outdoor living spaces for that rhythm, with outdoor kitchens, patios, and layered lighting planned alongside the pool rather than added after.
The Bay Area is really a cluster of communities — Clear Lake City within Houston, plus Webster, Seabrook, Nassau Bay, Taylor Lake Village, and El Lago — and we build across all of it, with League City close by and already on our regular route. New construction and renovation both run through one design-build team, backed by the automation and standby generator work that keeps a backyard dependable through Gulf Coast weather.
Pools for a Boating Town
When the boat comes back in, the backyard takes over. We design Clear Lake pools and spas as the after-the-bay gathering spot — rinse off, cook at the outdoor kitchen, and keep the evening going under lighting you control from your phone.
One Bay Area, Many Jurisdictions
Around Clear Lake, permitting can change from one street to the next — City of Houston for Clear Lake City, and each small incorporated city for its own addresses. We confirm the jurisdiction for your home and handle the full permit process, whichever it turns out to be.
Established Yards, Updated Pools
Many Bay Area pools were built decades ago and are ready for a second act. We resurface, retile, and re-equip existing pools, replace tired decking, and add the spas, fire features, and automation that bring an established backyard fully current.

What It Feels Like to Work With Us
“My husband and I are very pleased with the work Daniel and his team did. He helped us design our pool and provided us a timeline from start to finish. Daniel was also at the job site with his crews at all times making sure everything was done correctly. Overall, I highly recommend Action Custom Pools to family and friends.”

They are a certified Generac installer, had the equipment onsite (24kw Generac), and I only had to wait a week from when Daniel gave me the estimate to when it was installed! All his tradesmen were awesome and the whole project was well done, I highly recommend for whole house generator install.”

However, with summer around the corner and the kids at home, we decided to build a pool outside our backyard. I did my research and I came across them and omg they did not disappoint. They just finished the pool a few days ago and it is honestly the most stunning and insane pool ever. I am obsessed and the kids will not get out at all. I 100% recommend for anyone looking to get a pool. I cannot wait for all the gatherings we will start having this summer!”
