Pools Designed Around Conroe.
Conroe is two pool markets in one city. On one side, the Montgomery County seat is adding rooftops fast — new homes in Grand Central Park and Graystone Hills along I-45, plus the Woodforest master-planned community nearby, most of them with backyards still waiting for a plan. On the other side sits Lake Conroe, where established homes in neighborhoods like Water Crest on Lake Conroe treat the backyard as the main event. Action Custom Pools builds for both: clean-slate designs for new construction and thoughtful upgrades for lake properties that have been entertaining for years.
Whichever side of town you're on, the project runs through one team from concept to completion. We design the pool and spa together with the surfaces around them — patios, an outdoor kitchen if the space calls for one, lighting, and automation — so nothing feels bolted on later. And just north of The Woodlands, where we also build, Conroe gets the same site-first approach: we walk the lot before we draw anything.
New-Construction Backyards, Planned Once
A brand-new lot in Grand Central Park or Graystone Hills is the easiest kind of canvas — nothing to demolish, nothing to work around. We lay out the pool, spa, decking, and kitchen as one design, so the yard is finished in a single well-sequenced project.
Lakeside Living, Done Properly
Homes around Lake Conroe host more than most. For lake-area properties, we design pools and spas that hold their own next to the water view, with generous patio space, shade, and lighting that carries a gathering well past sunset.
City or County Permitting, Sorted
Inside Conroe city limits, the City of Conroe reviews pool permits; some outlying and lake-area neighborhoods fall under unincorporated Montgomery County instead. We confirm which applies to your address and carry the approvals through, alongside any HOA review.

What It Feels Like to Work With Us
“My husband and I are very pleased with the work Daniel and his team did. He helped us design our pool and provided us a timeline from start to finish. Daniel was also at the job site with his crews at all times making sure everything was done correctly. Overall, I highly recommend Action Custom Pools to family and friends.”

They are a certified Generac installer, had the equipment onsite (24kw Generac), and I only had to wait a week from when Daniel gave me the estimate to when it was installed! All his tradesmen were awesome and the whole project was well done, I highly recommend for whole house generator install.”

However, with summer around the corner and the kids at home, we decided to build a pool outside our backyard. I did my research and I came across them and omg they did not disappoint. They just finished the pool a few days ago and it is honestly the most stunning and insane pool ever. I am obsessed and the kids will not get out at all. I 100% recommend for anyone looking to get a pool. I cannot wait for all the gatherings we will start having this summer!”
